Introduction
Learning
English will give you opportunities to find work or start another
non-ESOL course.
Moving on to a non-ESOL course of study Once
your English gets to Intermediate 2 level (SCQF 5) or above,
you will have the English language skills to take up another
course at a Further Education College or University.
If you want more advice on this and are studying at a
college, ask to speak to your college’s careers advisor.
Although
it’s possible to do manual jobs without very much English, you
will have more employment opportunities as your English develops. If you want careers advice, there are a number of careers advice
